It has been over 120 years since the invention of the projector (Kinetoscope), one of the historically greatest benefits on mankind by the “King of Inventions”, Thomas Alva Edison.
Edison’s projector has had a remarkable growth starting from motion pictures to today’s 3D digital film industry. The Son Sung mok Film Museum is an exhibition hall where one can watch, listen and feel this 120-year film history.
The Son Sungmok Film Museum is the world’s leading specialized film expert museum exhibiting more than 15,000 rare artifacts such as projectors and movie cameras and 20,000 film-related auxiliary materials, all collected by its founder, President Son Sungmok, from 30 countries all over the world for 55 long years.
